Summary & Overview
Minotauruss was a quick personal project I finished in a week, by diligently and meticulously spending a lot of time upfront on planning and pre-production I managed to very quickly and efficiently create a game that achieves what it set out to do; disorientate and overwhelm the player, which slowly develops into a feeling of mastery.
I put this game together near the end of a 10 week project, after creating a variety of other prototypes and tech-demos that had potential, but no focus, I wanted to try the exact opposite approach. Learning to work with and understand this design philosophy ended up being the one thing I'd dedicate the entire 10 weeks to, and I feel like I've massively grown as a designer because of it.
This page is still work in progress.
